Surprisingly we have a very tall baby. For her two month appointment she measured 24" 11 lbs. 8 oz. Avery is in the 90th% for length and 50th for weight. She is long and lean. We like to think that she may have beaten the odds and will be tall. We do have a few tall people in our families. I am short and Cameron is average, but his brothers Aaron and Bill are tall, as well as his sisters Alyssa, and Courtney. My sister Erin is tall. So there is a chance we may have some dormant tall genes to give out. Who knows if a two month baby appointment can really tell anything, but it is nice to dream. Last week two new babies were born in the LaDuke family. Nathan and Mary Kay had baby Eden on Monday of last week. Betina and Rob had baby Paisley on Thursday. We went up to Gilbert on Saturday evening for a short dinner visit to see Billy for his birthday and to say goodbye to his family who are all moving to Montana for his service as a JAG attorney. We got to see baby Paisley who is so tiny and cute. Avery seemed like a giant in her 3-6month clothing that barely fits in length. Saturday was also a baby shower for Lili Wright. She is the cutest pregnant girl. She manages to look stylish and glowing. Lili brought over some Lily's to thank us for helping with her shower. We are enjoying the wonderful fragrance the flowers are giving off. The flowers remind us that it is spring. Spring for us has always meant, Cameron is in finals. Lot's of stress for us all. This year the girls are all taking a trip to Reno to avoid being a distraction.
Meanwhile in Reno, our families have been experiencing lots of earthquakes. Over 100 on Friday alone. Two large ones a 4.2 and 4.7 have been reported. My mom has purchased earthquake insurance, while my sister thinks she might need to bolt down her hutch to the wall to protect her stemware. I hear they are all a little sleep deprived, but no major damage has been done. We are supposed to go and visit next week but, I don't really want to go if they are going to fall into the earth.
Avery Milestones:
April 14th Avery's 1st chuckled, (still not belly laugh)
She chuckles often when being tickled, or when she is sleeping.
May 5th Avery rolled over front to back.
Funny Callie Quote:
Callie was mad about something we asked her to do today. She threw down her bib and rudely said "No!" to Cameron. Cameron said "Callie don't throw a tantrum." Callie replied "It's not a tantrum it's a bib." We laughed at how clever she was, and tried to explain what a tantrum is.

Auntie Sarah
Addie, I love to check out your blog to find out the latest with the LaDuke's. Avery is beautiful! She is so precious. How has 2 kids been? Do you feel like you have the hang of it yet?
By the way, has anyone ever told Cameron he looks a little bit like Matthew Fox? (Jack from LOST). Graham and I think about that each time we watch that show! Check it out!
