In other news. We have moved into a great apartment. Two bedrooms and two baths. We even have a fireplace (because it gets so cold in Tucson). We have a beautiful view of the foothills and the Catalina Mountains. Callie keeps asking, while pointing to the saguaro cactus "mama, what tree is that?" There is a lot of desert wild life here. We have lizards and cotton tail bunnies right out side our door. Courtney, Cameron's sister lives about a mile away and tells us of the Javelina (wild pigs), mountain lions, bob cats, bears and Gila monsters they have had in their yards. Yikes, I hope not too run into any of those. With the heavy monsoons this year the desert is so lush and pretty. Not the green of Connecticut but we are adjusting. This past weekend we visited with all of Cameron's family. Alyssa just graduated from NAU with a Master's in Education, and it was reason to celebrate. Callie was happy to see all of her cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents. They swam and played for hours. What family function is not complete with out a smorgasbord of food. We all ate too much but enjoyed every bite. I forgot to mention, before we left for Phoenix, there was a very gusty monsoon.
About five large trees and one four armed saguaro blew right over in our complex. On our route out of town we saw at least 30 more tress blown over, and Cameron witnessed an electric fire ball from power lines collapsing. What an exciting place! This week Callie started potty training. No success yet, but we are determined. Cameron starts orientation on Wednesday and I am getting my hair cut. I can't emphasize it enough "what an exciting place."

Sounds like you are home! Congratulations on the new baby and can't wait to visit!

Yeah! Yippee! Woohoo! I'm so happy for you and Cameron and Callie too. Keep us posted on your progress - you know, like belly shots and when you get down to just one puking a day! Congratulations!
Congrats Addie! That is so exciting, you guys are such great parents and I know what a anticipated blessing this is for you!
Wow Addie I had no idea you had that much to say. You won't find me writing much. I loose interest in my own words. Short attention span. I am so sorry that you were so sick with this kid. I was sicker than I have ever ever been with this one . I feel for you.

Stuck in Bellamy for another year,
Chris, Amy and Micah Stroup
Addie, I am so glad you finally announced your pregnancy! I was wondering when everyone was going to find out. Your blog makes me laugh. I can just feel your enthusiasm when you speak of the desert beauty! :) I miss you! Honestly, if I wasn't so darn big and pregnant right now and not visiting the Dr. weekly, I would drive down to Tucson in a heart beat to visit! Callie and Lily really need to play!
Addie, I love reading your blog. Both of you are such entertaining writers. I hope you are feeling more energetic and Callie is going potty in the appropriate recepticle! Last I heard the floor was on the receiving end.
Also, Cameron, I hope you are enjoying your orientation. Love to all!
Addie, I miss you! Congrats on your pregnancy, that is WONDERFUL!!! And, wow, things worked out so perfectly for Cameron's school and your situation in AZ. I'm glad you are in an apartment that you love--you earned it!!
